Moms Offering Moms Support

About Our Chapter

Our club started in April 2005 and has been growing every day with moms like you. Today, we are a very active group of over 40 moms.

Our monthly calendar is filled with fun activities for the children and opportunities for you to socialize with other stay-at-home moms. Our activities include:

· Playgroups at members’ homes

· Trips to the zoo and aquarium

· Street car rides

· Park days

· Fire station tours

· Tours of local restaurants

· Holiday crafts for kids

· Lunch Bunches-  Themed pot-luck luncheons held at members’ homes, local parks, or kid-friendly restaurants

We also have one ladies-only Moms’ Night Out each month.
The members of our group correspond mostly via the internet/email, but if you do not have internet access at your home, we will gladly mail you a calendar and call you with important club information.

 

Who Can Join?

The geographical boundaries of the MOMS Club of Metairie-North include the portions of zip codes 70002, 70003, 70005, and 70006 which are north (on the lake side) of I-10, and the entire areas of zip codes 70122 and 70124.

Monthly Meetings

Our chapter conducts a business meeting on the second Wednesday of each month in the morning. At these meetings we discuss upcoming events, plan service projects, and occasionally have a guest speaker. We frequently go to a park or kid-friendly restaurant for lunch after the meeting. Prospective members are encouraged to attend, and, as with all our activities, children are welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet the moms in our group and see what our club is all about.    Contact us for meeting time and location.
